Served one year in Da Naug, Viet Nam, at China Beach. Travelled extensively to Central and South America and had been to every country. Spoke Portugese and Spanish. He was killed in an Aviocar  Plane crash near San Jose,  Costa Rica.

Worked as custodian for Blooming Praire Schools for 38 years and as custodian for Red Oak Grove Lutheran Church for 38 years. Lives at 14374  54th Ave. SE, Blooming Praire MN, 55917
